I’m a watercolor painter and illustrator with over ten years of experience. My art style is bright and narrative with a free-flowing composition that inspires exploration. Books and literature are an important aspect of any child’s development, and I feel it is critical to depict them in a way that fosters their wild imagination and aesthetic taste.
When I develop illustrations for a new children’s picture book, I relish the intricate process of visual storytelling ahead and love bringing an author’s stories to life. I work with all genres in a structured manner that guarantees the author’s satisfaction.

Each page she has created for the book is a work of art, particularly when she painted full landscapes. “While I was trying to figure out how I could find someone to create some beautiful digital illustrations of the ocean for my book, it didn’t take long before I got a DM on Instagram by Ava Jahani. Ever since we’ve interacted, we’ve formed a connection. We discussed how the art should look and the type of style to use to satisfy a child’s imagination. I requested 3 different drawings: an “open ocean” scene, a “hurricane” scene, and an “underwater toxic waste” scene.
